Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure all shipments receive proper labeling and are packaged to arrive safely.
• Checks items to be shipped against work orders/packing slips
• Processes orders in company database
• Review and maintain proper inventory level of packaging
• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory, which is shipped or received.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
• Performs inventory cycle counts and updates company database

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Shipping or warehouse experience
• Inventory control experience
• Able to operate power equipment, forklift and general hand tools
• Experience with expandable foam packing equipment
• Valid drivers license with clean record
